Josh Schlicht is an undergraduate at the University of Colorado Boulder. His field of study is International Affairs with a minor in both German and Business. He will finish undergraduate degree in the Spring of 2022. Josh is passionate about Human Rights and conflict prevention. He is enthusiastic to join AFJN, and participate in their important work of securing a prosperous, independent, and equitable future for African nations. 


Jared Watkins is a sophomore at Lipscomb University where he is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in both International Relations and Social Work. At Lipscomb, Jared is a part of a variety of communities including multiple religious groups. Through these he has been able to travel to countries such as Ukraine and Jamaica where he completed missions with a variety of people, learning about various cultures and practices. As an intern with the African Faith and Justice Network, Jared is seeking to expand his knowledge on the current, past, and future socio-economic platform in Africa. He also takes a special interest in the mission to spread news of positivity throughout Africa. Looking forward, Jared plans to finish his degrees and practice adoption law to advocate on the behalf of those who cannot do it themselves.
