We are pleased to announce that we have received funding to cover scholarships for students interested in attending Africa Faith and Justice Network’s upcoming conference – “Justice in Africa: On Whose Terms?” April 17 & 19th in Rosslyn (metro accessible). The focus of the conference is on restorative justice, but many topics relating to Africa and U.S. policy on Africa will be featured in the workshops and other events, including how college campuses can mobilize for change.
That’s right, students can attend for free! Any student who is interested in attending is encouraged to download the application and submit it either to events@afjn.org or to AFJN’s mailing address included on the form, by April 9, 2010. This form would serve as your registration, and the office will contact you to confirm its receipt (non-students can still register online here).
