Journeying Together, Towards a Just Africa

This Lent, let us walk alongside our African brothers and sisters, as we reflect on Africa’s vibrant spirit and resilience amidst  challenges, conflict, and inequality. As people of faith, we are called to accompany them, listen to their stories, and work towards justice.

Reflect on the African saying, “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.” Let us journey together, embracing solidarity and shared humanity.

May we fast from indifference and pray for the vulnerable, that Africa may rise with dignity and hope. As AFJN works for just US-Africa relations, let us support efforts towards peace, equality, and sustainable development.
