In December 2015, members of the terrorist group al-Shabaab stormed a bus in northeastern Kenya and demanded Christians identify themselves with the intention to kill those who did. In a show of bravery, the Muslim passengers on the bus stood beside their Christian brothers and sisters, protecting them, and forcing the terrorists to flee through this act of unity. This true story was recently made into a live action short film, Watu Wote, and this week it was announced as an Academy Award nominee. The Oscars will be held on March 4, 2018.
