On Friday, ahead of Pope Leo XIV’s maiden visit to Africa, Africa Faith and Justice Network (AFJN) sent a letter to The Supreme Pontiff (through the Apostolic Nuncio) urging His Holiness to highlight key areas of injustice impacting the region.
On November 19, 2025, the Africa Faith and Justice Network was mentioned in Tijjani Sarki’s “Nigerians Must Stop Outsourcing Our Sovereignty” article in The Nigerian Voice.
The song “TUISHI PAMOJA Remix” by the Chorale St. Michel of Rubare–Rutshuru was released on October 15, 2025, to promote peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo, particularly in the eastern region. This artistic expression embodies the collective longing for peace, reconciliation, and justice of the Congolese people—especially the community to which these musicians belong.
On October 2, 2025, the Africa Faith and Justice Network’s Unity through Diversity was featured in the “Là où les armes divisent, la musique unit : quand les artistes s’érigent en passeurs de paix (Where guns divide, music unites: when artists become peacemakers)” article by Jason Kabera in Zion News TV.
The Africa Faith and Justice Network, a member of the Public-Private Alliance for Responsible Minerals Trade (PPA), sent the “Call for Action on Mineral Traceability and Conflict Financing in Eastern DRC” letter to the PPA Leadership Team, urging them to take a clear and principled stance of the ongoing crisis in the DRC with particular emphasis on the issue of mineral extraction by unauthorized actors, including armed groups.
