The Africa Faith and Justice Network’s Sr. Eucharia Madueke, SNDdeN spoke on a panel about her advocacy training work coordinating the AFJN Women Empowerment Project in Africa. The multi-day event, which took place from October 26-28, 2022 in Nairobi, Kenya, brought hundreds of Catholic sisters from around the globe together to share and reflect on their experiences, challenges, and triumphs. The event was sponsored by Conrad N. Hilton Foundation who funded over 250 organizations.
The Africa Faith and Justice Network’s (AFJN) Board of Directors has elected a new Executive and welcomed a new member.
Alexander Hoyt is a Senior at Indiana University majoring in Public Management & Leadership, minoring in Arts Management and Intelligence Studies. He is currently participating in the Washington Leadership Program.
Elian Romano Brandt is a junior at the University of Regensburg in Bavaria, Germany, participating in 2022 Fall Semester Program at the American University in Washington DC. He majors in political science with an emphasis on international politics and minors in public law, history and gender studies.
Garrett Wright is a Senior at Indiana University majoring in Law and Public Policy and minoring in International Relations and Philosophy. Garrett has served in multiple roles on IU’s campus including Speaker of the House for the university’s student congress
