The Africa Faith and Justice Network (AFJN) warmly invites you to “The Africa Faith and Justice Network’s Annual Memorial Mass” on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 11:00 am EST. This sacred gathering honors the profound contributions and enduring legacy of our late donors, board members, staff, and supporters whose dedication has strengthened AFJN in our mission.

Rooted in the dedication of those who came before us, this Mass is an opportunity to come together and reflect on the legacy of the lives and work of the AFJN community by celebrating victories and accomplishments, reaffirming our commitments to justice, recognizing the intergenerational aspect of the mission, and inspiring future generations.

Join AFJN as we celebrate the lives that have touched us, finding strength and solace in shared faith and the promise of the hope that is Christ.  Let us cherish the memories, offer prayers, and reaffirm our community connection.

The Main Celebrant of the Mass is Rev. Rev. Barthelemy Bazemo, MAfr. Any priest interested in concelebrating is encourage to indicate that when you RSVP.

Your presence, whether in person or online, would be a cherished part of this commemoration.

Kindly RSVP by August 15, 2025 to help us anticipate attendance and to share the names of late AFJN donors, board members, staff, and supporters to be remembered during the Mass here.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Jacques Bahati at bahati@afjn.org or call 202-817-3670.

We look forward to sharing this meaningful occasion with you.

In faith and solidarity,

Dr. Steven Nabieu Rogers
AFJN Executive Director
